A Garden Update – Learning as We Grow

Hi friends,

If you’ve checked our website lately, you might have seen that we said cut flowers were coming soon. Well… it turns out they might not be coming quite as soon as we hoped.

This year, our garden has been overrun with grass and weeds. Between working on the farm and off the farm, we just haven’t had the time to keep up with it. I planted 105 annual flowers, but we lost quite a few.

Sometimes things don’t go the way we plan. But that’s okay. It’s good to try new things—even if they don’t work out the first time. We learn a lot by stepping back, looking at what worked (and what didn’t), and trying again.

So that’s what I’m doing! I went to a local greenhouse and bought some perennial flowers. These are great because they come back every year with a lot less work. I’m planting a perennial garden now to help make next year’s flower patch more manageable.

It’s a new path for our cut flowers, and I’m excited to keep growing—literally!

Thanks for following us and allowing us to serve you. If you have questions, give us a shout! Have a wonderful week!

With our appreciation,

Tony, Kierstyn, and Family
